This blog is a demo site: fast, accessible and bilingual. If you like it, I can build one made for you.

If you made it this far, maybe you like this blog. Good news: it is a demo site, and I can build one just like it (or better) for you.

What you get

Speed: very light pages that open instantly, even on a phone.

Two languages: Italian and English, with a language switcher and linked translations.

Easy to manage: a simple admin panel. Write, save, publish. No code.

Accessible and search-friendly: built for everyone and for search engines, with built-in search, an RSS feed and light and dark themes.

Your colours, your style: the design adapts to your brand.

Minimal running costs: no platform subscriptions, and your content stays yours.

Let's talk

Already have a blog in mind, a website for your business, or a project to refresh? Tell me about it and we will work out how to build it.

Email: info@yuriy-boyko.com

Website: yuriy-boyko.com

Publishing a post takes a few minutes.

The steps

Sign in to the admin panel with your GitHub account.

Choose Posts and click New post.

Write the title, description and text in Italian, then switch to the English tab for the translation.

Add an image with its description.

Save: the site updates by itself in about a minute.

If you are not ready, turn on Draft and the post will not be published.

Keep enough contrast between text and background.

Make everything reachable by keyboard.

Starting from the smallest screen makes the site better everywhere: here is the method.

Designing mobile first means starting from the smallest screen and adding space only when there is room.

Why it works

It forces you to choose what really matters.

Text stays readable, in one column, with no horizontal scrolling.

Touch targets are large enough for fingers.

In practice

You write the base style for about 320 pixels first, then add rules for tablet and desktop. The result works well on every device.

Load times, Core Web Vitals and static pages: how speed and results go hand in hand.

A fast site is nicer to use, ranks better and convinces more.

The basics

Static pages: the server delivers ready-made HTML, with no computation.

No external fonts: system fonts mean no extra requests.

Light images: modern formats such as AVIF and WebP, sized correctly for every screen.

Little JavaScript: only what is really needed.

How it is measured

The main indicators are LCP (speed of the main content), CLS (layout stability) and INP (responsiveness). A good site keeps all of them in the green range.
